Comments
Comments: A very late start for Slow and Steady today. Had to deal with a flat tire and needed to get a new one prior to the hike. Started at 1:30. Camel's Hump Road to the winter lot was plowed. Snow came down consistently during the entire hike. Monroe trail had 2-3 inches of new snow that we packed out on the way up and another 1-2 inches were packed out on the way down. There was a solid base under this trail. We wore snowshoes the entire day. Trees were heavily laden with snow and it was quite the winter wonderland. No views from the summit today but a beautiful day nonetheless.
