The trails were a mixed bag. Hell Brook Trail was wet for most of the way, which, combined with its steepness, was why I went down the Long Trail. The scrambling on Hell Brook and the LT was really fun! Made the hike more interesting and challenging, which is what I wanted, since I had a three hour drive each way and I got a late start. The LT was wet in spots too, but not like HBT. Finished the hike off by walking route 108 back to my car.
NE 4,000 footer #57 is in the bag! 10 left, all in Maine. Bring 'em on! |
