Comments
Comments: Ascended the gravel work roads from the Sugarbush South base area (always staying north of the Super Bravo quad chairlift; having a Google Earth aerial image loaded helps one navigate the roads and not end up at Castlerock) to the summit of Lincoln Peak. Roads overlap downhill mountain bike trails, as well as a frisbee golf course, but no issues.
Long Trail from Lincoln Peak to Mt. Abraham alternated between dry try and mud pits. Rocks and roots were dry, so one could hop over/around the mud pits without causing trail creep.
Good views atop Lincoln Peak and Mt. Abraham today. Sugarbush South is a hopping place in the summer, in stark contrast to Sugarbush North (Mt. Ellen).
