Comments
Comments: Picked a yucky day to check out the western access, but conditions improved as the day went on. Started out in pouring rain, but it cleared about a mile in, and it never rained for the rest of the hike. Unfortunately, the clouds never cleared, so no views. The Bucklin Trail was very easy for the first two miles or so, then went steadily uphill to the LT/AT junction; took that to Cooper Lodge. From there, the Killington Spur ascended very steeply over some sketchy wet rocks and ledge to the summit. Got our photo-ops then headed to the summit lodge on the ski area side for lunch, where a wedding (wedding rehersal?) was happening. 7.2 miles roundtrip, 2500' gain, 3.25 hr. personal book time.

Thanks to Ray for a fun hike!
