Long Trail (NB) from Lincoln Gap
Today's hike would be a two for one. We went into Lincoln Gap and approached using the LT North. Quick ascent of Abraham, then across, Little Abe, Lincoln, Nancy Hanks, Cutts and finally Ellen. Great views along the way of the valley and ski resorts. VT is all ski resorts! A sprinkle or two to keep us moving. Upon our return to Abe we bushwacked in to see another plane crash site. This one seemed to be more social and the entire plane was found. Very sad to imagine losing a loved one this way. Back down and brewery # 2! VT rocks! |
