Lincoln Gap remained closed fyi so this was Plan B hike. Elder Hill Rd entrance road was muddy esp at the end, though the family minivan made it. Plenty of room for 5-6 cars. |

Great shape but melting fast down low |

Spectacular 360-degree views on this stunning spring day! Still 2+feet of snow at the top but ground/rocks/roots emerging down low. We all wore spikes on ascent but with the softening snow I donned snowshoes for descent and 2 of the 3 others did later. |
