This is a wonderful short hike in Fairlee, via the Cross Rivendell trail, around 1.9 miles one way from Bloodbrook Rd. Trail had some human/dog tracks till a point where there was a minor amount of side hill. Then I "broke" trail the rest of the way. 1-3 inches of snow on the trail with a crusty top. Summit has been cleared since I last visited in 2012. I'm looking forward to returning during wildflower season to see the new opened views. I took some other woods roads that looped back to the lower section of the Cross Rivendell tr near the parking lot. |
