Comments
Comments: Snow on the ground for the entire trip, but no more than 4 inches at any point. Trail in great shape to the LT. Some small patches of ice on the LT. Killington Peak Spur was steep and rocky towards the end, but minimal ice on the route made it easy going. I put on microspikes nearing the LT because the snow on top of the leaves was a bit slick, but not bad. Left them on until back down to Brewer Brook just to be safe.

Had the summit to myself, which would have been nicer without the noise of the snow guns and chair lifts. Skiing is open now and plenty of people were out.

A number of vehicles parked on the side of Wheelerville Road for hunters in the morning. Wouldn't be a bad idea to wear something bright and keep dogs on leash.
