Parking/Access Road Notes: The access road is still open all the way to the summer parking lot (where the AT crosses Mad Tom Notch Road).

Water Crossing Notes: There are no water crossings.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Basically in good condition. There are a few blowdowns but these are easily crossed and left on purpose as part of the "wilderness experience".

Bugs: Yea, none! 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A small compass is lying on the rocks just before the Styles Peak lookout ledge.

Comments: The shorter hike just to Styles Peak is all that is needed to get the great view.
