Parking/Access Road Notes: Rte 108 Smugglers Notch Road is closed. Parking is just before the closure, on the right or if full in the Stowe ski area lot on the left. Easy 0.3 miles to the LT from there.

Surface Conditions: Ice - Black, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One spot on the trail below Taft shelter where there are several paths through the woods needs significant maintenance. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dog should be ice-savvy and good at going around, finding their own way through the woods. Above the Adams Apple Trail junction is not good for dogs, too ledgy and risky right now with the ice.

Comments: Long Trail (southbound from Rte 108)

Had to turn back at the final (?) headwall as it was too steep and icy and there's only a small ledge below with a significant fall exposure beyond. Dogs had to turn back further down at the notch/chimney shortly above the Adams Apple Trail junction.
