Comments
Comments: My daughter Crystal took me hiking for Father's Day. Can't think of a better gift. Most hikers do Camel's Hump as an out and back via Monroe Tr. or Burrows Tr. along with short 0.3 mile of Long Trail to summit. I highly recommend either a Monroe-Dean-Long Tr.(north)-Monroe loop or a Forest City-Long Tr.(north)-Burrows loop for the open views along the Long Tr.. These are both great 8 mileish loops; especially when trails are dry and skies are blue. Didn't get either today as it cleared on our way down and the trails were wetter than I've ever seen them. Still a great day out with one of my special gals. Next time I listen to you for advice with the slippery rocks.
