 | Comments: |
When my son got car trouble and I had to abandon plans to hike Lafayette and Lincoln, I chose to hike this local gem instead. This mountain well deserves all the accolades it gets. The trail starts in beautiful hardwood forest, becomes mossy spruce and fir, then lots of rocks and cliffs and lemon squeezers, and other fun stuff, opening up to gorgeous views and vistas. The trail is mostly dry, with some muddy areas that are navigable. |
