It was a gorgeous day to begin with... Got a little cold by the time i got to the top. If you follow the blue blazes no the ski indents you will stay on the trail no problem. When you take a right staying on the trail its a steady incline the rest of the way. I had spike on but was sinking a little so i changed o snowshoes. Once i got to killington sour whichseemed like forever. Very few trails compared to the completely broken out trail behind me. It was such an incline i ditched the snowshows and kicked holes for my feet to climb with. Wish i had my crampons for it. Only way down was a butt slide. Told over 3 hours going up and about 1:20 down. Didnt see any other hikers only skiiers |
