Comments
Comments: Snow depths were 1"-2" of wet snow at the bottom, increasing to 10"-12" along the ridge, with deeper drifts. 2500' seemed to be where the depths really increased. In the warm temps today, a lot of snow was wet and sticky, however, on all the north facing slopes it remained powdery. Saw lots of fresh moose and bear tracks up on the ridge. In total saw 6 hunters today-1 down low on the Frank Post trail early in the morning, 3 along the Long Trail about halfway between Tillotson and Belvidere & 2 more down low on the Forester's trail
