Parking/Access Road Notes: Both lots full mid-morning. Parked on road at lower parking lot. Upper part of road to Pinnacle Meadows parking was a little washed out but several cars had made it by using both sides of road.

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Not sure how to respond today.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Hard to knock drainage issues with amount of rain lately. Lots of traffic to sides of trails but when trail resembles brook I sometimes question myself why I'm on trail when sides look more inviting.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Many out today. Plentiful water.
Bugs
Bugs: Few black flies. Didn't see anyone complaining about them.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost my dry shoes and found some wet ones.

Comments
Comments: Hiked up Pinnacle Tr. and down Pinnacle Meadows Tr.. Pinnacle Meadows much drier because of terrain and lack of brook nearby. Most traffic I've seen here since helping out on a school hike several years ago. 70+ met with at least a dozen on top while up there. I'm used to "summit to myself" on late week day hikes but this is probably the norm on summer weekends.
