Comments
Comments: Beautiful morning & trails are finally drying out. Climbed up Abraham
& had summit to myself. 360 views were great. No clouds, little haze. The
ridge hike to Ellen is mainly level except for up/down on other peaks. There are some nice short spurs for viewing. There is no sign or markers on Ellen. If I didn't have my book, I might still be walking. On the way
out, going back up Abraham, I checked out the plane crash site. After seeing 6 people all day up to this point, when I got back to the summit there were at least 50-75 people there. Going down before the Battell
trail, I saw at least another 100 going up. A popular spot I guess. Any
ways, a good long hike (13 miles with a couple of spurs) with perfect
weather made for a great day.
