Comments
Comments: Most of the trail, especially above the 'conifer line' is very irregular crust with postholes higher up. Any footing will do, but any traction helpful; just beware of many ankle-twisters from barebooters at last thaw.
1-3" new on top of irregular crust; snow depth below crust 6" at trailhead, and ~2" high.
Generally cloudy with medium ceiling, views ok, but hazy and brown--stimulation of wind is the best of the day, but good enough for a number of smiling faces.
