Parking for Undermountain Trail off Route 41 in Salisbury was pretty much full when we arrived just before 10 AM. Still almost full when we got back at 3:10. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All crossings are straightforward rock hops. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns and mudpits, but much evidence of trail work as well. Signs are new since I was last here a few years ago, and look very good. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw several. They should be comfortable with scrambles, since there are several on the AT on the north side of Bear Mountain. |

None. |

Nothing. |

 | Comments: |
Trails were generally in good condition, though there was some mud in places. Everything was well blazed and signed. A few of the scrambles going up the north side of Bear Mountain were wet, but most of them were dry and the rocks were grippy. Weather was cool with a breeze, but nothing too bad. No ice or snow anywhere. Only a few plants have started to bloom this early. Plenty of people out today.
Always fun to revisit this one! |
