Hiked a section of the blue trail system today - Parked at Timberlands parking lot on Rt 80 in Guilford. Hiked north on Blue trail that has recently been connected to the Mattabasset trail. I believe this is now called the Menunkatuck trail. Walked almost 3 hours and had a great time. We hiked roughly 7 miles. Had to hike early (7am) too hot later in the day. Did not see a single person. |
