Water Crossing Notes: Rock hops, but a little tricky. Worst ones can be avoided by using forest road.

Bugs: Apparently a bees nest around crossing 3 on Bog Brook Trail (didn't hike the section between Wildcat River and the Forest Road...never encountered them).

Comments
Comments: Trails were generally pretty muddy (leaves covering mud and standing water, making for some unpleasant surprises). Nice foliage.



Top of bog brook confusing from irene...herd path leads downstream to washed down bog bridge...not where you want to go (trail instead crosses and traverses swamp).
