Comments
Comments: Got a late start on this one (was thinking of Cabot by Mill Brook Road, but seeing work on the road and rain later I was afraid of getting stuck). The earlier sunny day had become overcast, but the rain held off. Had done Hi-Cannon years ago, but had taken the tram down, so here we go again. The ladder was kind of difficult for me, as the lowest rung was kind of high. Beautiful views down into Lonesome Lake, as well as Franconia Notch. Decided to make a loop of it and go down Kinsman. I had tried Kinsman 10 years ago, thought it might be easier (better shape and 20 lbs lighter now), but it wasn't. Excessive water made for an extremely slow descent; we broke out the lights halfway down. Very slippery! Even Prema took a spill, and she seldom does. #42 is finished.
