The Polecat Ski Trail remains one of my favorite hikes. There is a view the entire trip and you can actually enjoy it because you don't have to worry about the footing so much.
As far as I'm concerned this is the route of choice for these peaks, unless you're hiking the AT or Redlining.
The foliage was Unbelievable even with the overcast. |
