| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Nice parking lot, almost empty today. No vandalism today either. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Standing/Running Water on Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The crossings were all fairly easy. All but the first (the lowest) offered multiple options for crossing. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail maintenance? Actually the Rocky Branch up to 2800' is in pretty good shape. I climbed and Lauky jumped over trees all day long, but nothing that was particularly difficult. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
The trail is long and there are stream crossings but other than that there are no particular problems for a dog. Water for drinking on this route is definitely not an issue. |

None |

| Comments: |
I love the peak. I don't care for those trails. It was nice having the entire wilderness to ourselves today. |
