| Dog-Related Notes: |
Not a good trail for dogs! There were day old heavy bloody dog footprints from the summit to parking lot. Never seen anything like it! Not just smudges, but full blood prints, EVERY step, EVERY paw. Poor pooch might have needed a transfusion! |

Refer to dog notes, really want to let dog owners avoid similar fate of dog referenced above. I don't even own a dog, but this one had me feeling bad.
Heavy fog and clouds everywhere in whites except Jefferson and Adams. A real treat to sit on summit from 10am to 10:55 (to make sure I was there for equinox) and watch the 50mph winds blow clouds over Washington summit into Great Gulf and undercast slowly break apart everywhere else. Nice rainbow climbing. Some photo's to come at link below in a few days. |
