Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at the AMC Cardigan Lodge.

Water Crossing Notes: Water crossings were not an issue.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in very good shape.

Dog-Related Notes: Most of the streams were bone dry -- low flow in Bailey Brook, as well. However, this was two or three hours before the first of yesterday afternoon's/evening's heavy rain/downpours.

Comments: We summited Cardigan at noon; unfortunately, the cloud cover was too thick to make out any of the flags (Flags on the 48) on nearby 4000-footers.
