Great day to hike Isolation. Mostly blue skys with a few puffy clouds and great views of the Pressies. The trail was still pretty wet considering the dry summer we've had. The usual running water down the Isolation trail past the last water crossing has subsided so that part was much better. It had rained a bit the night before so the brush was wet, too wet for the Engine Hill bushwack so I stuck to the trail today. The dry summer did mean the water levels were low and the stream crossing were very easy. |
