Trail is extremely brushing, especially between the potholes and treeline. Most of the waterbars are completely filled in. Trail is in dire need of some Level 1 work. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Not a good hike for most dogs, due to scrambles, deep crevaces in one place, and lots of sharp traprock up high. |

 | Comments: |
Trail was mostly dry. Hope AMC gets some Level 1 maintenance done on this trail soon (AMC maintained trail for the USFS). Took the Cornice to avoid the rough upper part of Caps Ridge. Windy today! |
