Comments
Comments: mixed bag today.. Lower Bunnell Notch Trail had a few wet and muddy stretches and very brushy on the old road part. Once into the woods trail mostly decent with some mud and eroded places. Good sized re route avoids a washed out section. Muddy around the Kilkenny jct, Pretty good footing up to the Cabin with some erosion and slippery rock and a new blowdown. Cold and breezey at the cabin..we hit the summits fast. Great tree work has been done in places above the cabin. We started down just as it started to rain..big drops which soon changed to a pretty decent hailstorm..pretty wild for 10 minutes or so but soon we were back in the mixed sun and clouds and the day got better as it went along. Congrats to Ben for #26 and Valerie for finishing August!!
