Comments
Comments: Late report submitted because of "opinions for best route to Isolation" question on other hiking site and possibility someone researching here for info as well. I had always avoided an out and back via Glen Boulder route dreading the 1500' climb on the way out. Emerel and myself found this to be not as difficult as we thought. It's a very gradual climb back up Davis Path. Great views along much of this route. Have tried 5 routes and this was the only time I finished with dry shoes. So if elevation gained is issue; as was with myself; it may be worth trying out this route. Hope this is of use to someone out there.
