Comments
Comments: Tuckerman Ravine Trail very busy but wide enough in most places to pass as needed. Glorious in the bowl today with swirling clouds and fog and plenty of blue sky..Gorgeous. Alpine Garden was immediately quieter with great views back to the ravine, Lions Head brushy and dropped us back into the masses for busy climb to a packed summit. Decent views with Northerns in and out of the clouds. Hazy to the west and south. Got into more clouds as we descended Crawford Path. Took a zig zag route down the ridge from there. Liked the Camel Trail in particular..terrific scenery though by now the clouds were lowering and there was some thunder at times. Once back on Davis Path, views to the North opened up and Washington was excellent standing clear and stark against mixed clouds behind.Gorgeous. Boott Spur got us back into the clear and we enjoyed some particular fine views into the Ravines.. Just a spectacular Presi day today with new trails fine views and great company. Thanks Becca for bringing the Tuckermans for the after hike swim.. Very nice!!
