A really nice hike and I bagged South Carter as a bonus. Trails a bit wet in places and some minor mud but overall trails are in good condition. A swim in the Nineteen mile brook was a treat on a hot day! Bring swimming attire, or at least a towel, if you're hiking this on a hot day. If peak bagging don't skip Mt Hight. It may not be an official 4000 footer but it's an awesome peak with a 360 view of the area. |
