Came here in early May & turned around when I saw the road was still
closed. After seeing storm damage & repair work done since, I'm glad I did. Rain this AM never reached Harts Location so hike was dry & lots of
blue sky at the summit. The material to rebuild the fire tower is
there & is scheduled to start Monday(8/20). This turned out to be a
good choice for my 48th 4000 footer because of the views from the
tower of the whole WMNF, identifying peaks and remembering other hikes.
A very rewarding hike. |
