Comments
Comments: Light dusting from start of Osseo up to a couple inches just below the ladders, over a very solid base. Bare-bootable to the ladders. Put crampons on to go up the mostly burried ladders and left them on for most of the rest of the day. Above the ladders the trail is drifted in pretty well, but not to deep. Deepest drifts were maybe knee deep. Some may want to use snowshoes above the ladders, but the base is solid, the snow light and soft, and I had no problem just bull-dozing through with crampons on. Lincoln Woods Trail lots of fun as usual.
