Little River was high with recent rain but with the downed tree it was no problem. Crossings just before Zealand hut were fine |

Trails are in good shape |

Only saw one dog all day right at the stairs descending Zealand. Plenty of trail water except on the ridges. |

There were some black flies on West Bond but they did not bite too much |

Had lots of fun on this long hike. In the fog until South Twin. Decent views after that thought rather hazy. Lot of people using the huts and met a couple through AT hikers. Congrats to Barbara R for finishing 48 on West Bond. You did it in style on a long cross country tramp!! |
