I was told Mt Cabot trail was no longer posted, but still not maintained
& that seemed to be true. Easy to follow all the way to meeting up with
Kilkenny Ridge. Last nights downpours were still running but I think this
trail is somewhat wet most of the time. Talking to hikers coming from
Bunnell Notch, that trail was very wet too. When the trail meets Kilkenny
Ridge, the climb begins & the trail is much better. Blue sky at summit but
clouds at lookout spurs on the way up. Better coming down. Checked out
USFS Cabin & signed in. Only one more to go! |
