 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Quarry Trail is overgrown in spots presumably due to lack of use. Just pay some attention and you'll have no issues. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw one on summit of Straightback on descent - seemed to be enjoying the day with its humans. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Annoying in the woods but not biting. Perhaps DEET had something to do with that. |

 | Comments: |
Interesting traverse with scattered viewpoints along the way. The Quarry Trail was a bit rough in a couple of spots - enough so to put the poles down and use hands - but nothing extreme. Plenty of signs, blazes and cairns to follow throughout. |
