Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Blue, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: I would recommend bushwhack at just past the bridge on Signal Ridge road to get around the first crossing. Second major one is open but very shallow. Third has just an inch or so covering so step lightly.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Couple of duck-under blow downs that hardly slow you down. Removed one small clump that crossed the trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Nice place to walk a dog on a weekday. Only saw one snow mobile.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nikon Hot shoe protector. i think....

Comments
Comments: Followed advice to use short bushwhack around first water crossing and it was easy to find and follow. Just a dusting of new snow. Trail quite hard. I ascended in snowshoes and descended 1/2 way in them. Switched to microspikes. Lots of little step over brooks as you follow the river. Some patches of ice and open ground also. After 1/2 big switchback snow got alittle deeper but only a couple of step thru drifting snow the whole trip. Signal ridge was rock hard snow. Mind your balance. Virtually no wind on the summit.
