Trail Maintenance Notes: trail in excellent shape..seems this trail salmost got better after Irene with lots of loose debris scoured off the trail. Was surprized to see that the Starr King viewpoint has been re cut though we had limited views today

Comments: Waumbek kind of a day. Drove through some intermittent showers along the way but hike was dry to Starr King where we got into the clouds a bit and there was some drizzle. No need to linger on the summit. The opening up of the Starr King viewpoint reestablishes that spot on the 52WAV list..a real nice spot. Leisurely hike today..stopped and chatted with many along the way today including JohnNH, Carl, and sleeveless who was out doing a double hit and run with Cabot. Nice day out with Valerie
