Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All 7 crossings on approach were easy. Very dry summer has water levels low. Can see how some of the crossings could be difficult after heavy rain.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few duck-unders and go-arounds, nothing major. Yellow blazes on trees at river crossings help you get back on trail. Look for them before you start the crossing.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Picked this trail because of dogs and was not disapointed. Plenty of water on lower approach, had one doge carry 2 liters of water for the top.
Bugs
Bugs: A few deer flies and fly-in-your-eyes but not bad. Many house flies on Tripyrimid.
