 | Comments: |
Having changed the day from Tuesday to Wed. based on the forecast we were disappointed to find ourselves hiking in pea soup from shortly after our start on the North Twin Trail until well after noon as we were descending the Twinway to the hut. It was cold, damp and the rocks were wet and slippery. We had no views on that lovely ridge from North to South Twin. However things improved after that and we were able to see from whence we had come and over to the Franconia ridge after lunch. A good day out was enjoyed by our group of 12 OTHH members today. |
