Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water level is low so we had no problems at any of the crossings.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Some Maintenance recently had been done. All trails in good conditions.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Because it has been dry, there was no water on the trail from where the Carrigian Notch trail started through the summit to the end of the Desolation trail. Benny used up his liter we were carrying for him.
Bugs
Bugs: Bugs didn't start bothering us till early afternoon. Resorted to applying bug spray.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Saw a fanny pack half way up the Signal Ridge trail but it was near some of the trail maintenance. We figured that person would be back for it.

Comments
Comments: It was a perfect day. We summited early so we were alone for an hour. The views were as advertised. The temperatures were just right. We only saw 3 other people the whole day. The Sawyer river road is easy to walk but does gain some elevation. #42
