terrific day out. After the sweltering heat of the past week the air was refreshing and crisp. Kind of a warm hike up Falling Waters with trail in mostly good shape with some erosion repairs done and being worked on. The Ridge a delight..we put on and off shells there as the brisk breeze had a bit of a chill to it. Love the section heading over to North Lafayette with the interesting views to the back of Owls Head where we were a couple of weeks ago. Skook a little rough at the ridge but quickly goes to a gorgeous footbed which made for smooth though longer descent. Thanks Becca for a sweet trip across the ridge!! |
