Very buggy, black flies above treeline. |

Got out before 7AM to beat heat. Caps were cool to go over. Big
rockpile up top. Cairns easy to follow. Hazy & humid at summit with
no breeze. Black flies made the visit a short one. Back in the woods
they disappeared. A group of birders from Mass Audubon were on the lower
part of the trail both up & down. |
