Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The old AMC guide advises roadside parking near the start of a sandy logging road, but there is a sign for a Mount Kinsman parking lot on the left just a little further south on route 116 - with a trail that leads to the logging road.

Water Crossing Notes: The major brooks were all low and easily crossed.

Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: After the 3 brook crossings on the Mount Kinsman trail, there was very little water available. No water on the Kinsman Ridge trail.

Bugs: A bit bothersome but not biting.

Comments
Comments: It was a pretty warm day on the summits, but the brook crossings were refreshing. Took the spur paths to the Kinsman Flume and Bald Peak - both were worth the extra effort! Lots of ripe wild blueberries on Bald Peak.
