The fee box had a sign indicating no fee required at this time at the Garfield trailhead parking area. Parking overflowed to street side parking. |

Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

All easily crossed. Water levels low. |

Trails in good shape. |

Good for dogs. |

Flies and mosquitoes. I managed not to be bitten. |

| Comments: |
There was minor erosion in short sections of trail but nothing that hampered hiking. Much of the usual mud areas were dried out or drying out.
Great views from the open summit.
Met another group of hikers from the Alton NH camp plus many other hikers. |
