Great views today. WCR trail is great on a clear, dry day. First time up this trail. Read many reports warning how steep and dangerous it is. It is steep, but at no point felt it was a dangerous climb. WCR Trail becomes a series of PUD's after crossing "D" peak. Met some very friendly Thru-hikers today. A couple started walking Feb. 29th. I took the ski trails down. If you take this route, make sure to stay on the Polecat trail at where the Cattrack trail connects. The trail looks like it should continue on the Cattrack, but take the right onto Polecat. |
