Lots of "eye flys" today down lower when moving. Some biting flys on South Carter when I stopped for a few minutes. |

Great day in the Carters. I had planned on visiting Carter Dome as well but some showers convinced my less than olympic quality conditioned legs to head down early. I was surprised to meet some thru hikers this early in the summer. |
