Bugs: Is it June, and has it been hot and steamy? Black flies were pretty thick at the summit

Comments: We were alone on the trail and mountain today, until another couple arrived from the blueberry ridge trail. We went down pretty quickly to get ahead of the storms and just made it to the car as they started about 3:00 P.M. A good day of hiking
