Might have been a little warm for our 4 legged friends. There was plenty of water in the usual Crawford brook crossings on the lower Avalon and beginning of AZ. After that -- dry |

There ws a decent breeze that kept the bugs managable except there were some on summit of Tom and Willy |

| Comments: |
There must be something about this hike. I did it on the coldest day of the year in February and today the hottest. The breeze helped but it was 85 on the ridge. By the time I reached Avalon on the way down the summits had cleared in the Presidentials. Nice way to welcome in summer---I needed a swim in the Saco to cool down. |
