Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of blowdowns starting near Avalon Spur all the way to Willey Range Trail. Quite a few chainsaw/axe blowdowns on Willey Range Trail - I was able to remove over a dozen. A few on A-Z Trail near Tom Spur junction. Signs for Avalon Spur Trail are down - tree fell over.

Comments
Comments: No one had been on this loop since the snow a few days ago. While depths were 2-3", there were extended drifts of 1-2'. Loop is now broken out and well packed - snowshoes with good traction seemed to be the best choice. Hard packed frozen granular base underneath the minimal packed powder surface. Trail hard to follow near Avalon col, as well as between Field and Willey, due to lack of blazes and lots of blowdowns.
